Hello, I’m Gabby.

The inspiration behind the name 'FOTOGLO' comes from my initials, GLO, and 'FOTO,' which is how it's spelled in Indonesian—yes, I’m Indonesian! For the past 10 years, I’ve been a part-time photographer based in Northern Virginia, where I grew up in Woodbridge. As a self-taught photographer, I have a passion for capturing life’s authentic moments.

When I’m not capturing portraits, I’m likely indulging my foodie side, always on the hunt for new flavors and cuisines. I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust, and my camera comes along for every adventure. My photography style? Think natural light meets storytelling, where every shot is a memory frozen in time. But my favorite subjects? My eight wild and wonderful nieces and nephews—aka my 'hooligans'—they’re always keeping me on my toes and my camera snapping.

It’s the timeless quality and ability to convey deep emotion without the distraction of color. They focus on raw essence, allowing the viewer to appreciate expressions, textures, and contrasts that tell a powerful story, making each image a striking representation of the subject’s character and mood.

I love working with kids

Their genuine expressions and boundless energy bring a sense of joy to every session. Having volunteered at my church for Sunday school, I’ve seen firsthand how much fun it is to engage with them. While I enjoy working with all ages, kids truly hold a special place in my heart—they make capturing authentic moments incredibly rewarding.
